Creating a Medical Contact

Please Note: This article relates to both the TM2 and TM3 versions of the desktop software.

Within this guide, it will show you how to create a Medical Contact within TM2 including the following;

  • Creating a Medical Contact
  • Medical Category
Creating a Medical Contact

TM2 will allow you to create Medical Contacts to assign to your patients etc.  To do this

  1. Click on Main - Medical Contacts
  2. Right-Click on the Medical Contacts screen - New Medical Contact
  3. Enter Medical Contact Details
  4. Press Create

The medical contact will now be created on TM2. 

Medical Category

You are able to create a Medical Category to assign to your medical contacts; allowing you to distinguish Consultants, G.P, Solicitors etc.  To do this

  1. Go to Tools - TM2 Options
  2. Lookups & Labels - Lookups
  3. In the drop-down, choose Medical Contact Types
  4. Add a Contact Type - Press Add New Lookup

You will now be able to apply the category to your Medical Contacts.  To do this

  1. Go to Main - Medical Contacts
  2. Open a Medical Contact
  3. Open Category Dropdown - Choose Category Type
  4. Press Update
