Check Mac Address
This guide will show you how to Check the Mac Address on a PC.
If a user is complaining of an issue where they get kicked out of TM2/TM3 after only being logged in for a couple of minutes there may be an issue with a Mac Address.
90% of the time the MAC address causing the issues will be the 6to4 adapter.
If this is the case running the TestMACAddress exe will contain a lot of 0's.
e.g 000000000000000000000000E0 as shown below.
Disable The Adapter
This adapter is not needed for TM2/TM3 to function as the 6to4 adapter is a component used for transmitting IPv6 packets through IPv4 network correctly
To disable the 6to4 adapter – open command prompt and enter the following line:
Netsh interface ipv6 6to4 set state disabled.
Restart TM2/TM3 and Download a New LicenceClick on ‘Your Licence Details’ and Start TM2/TM3
